We will do this by advocating for system change in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, engaging with decision makers in all sectors at all levels, working to foster coproduction practices with lived experience organisations, embedding the voice of lived experience throughout the county.

For all sectors to work with lived experience organisations to inform and enable inclusive and equitable services and provision for all underrepresented communities, no matter the size of their demographic.

Equipping all sectors with the tools to foster inclusive and proactive conversations about identity and underrepresented communities in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. Whether this be through language guidance, training or coproduction practices, we believe working together is integral to inclusive solutions.

For the VCSE sector to be better connected and more aware of the work each of our organisations are doing, so we can support, champion and empower each others voice and initiatives, as well as increase collaborative efforts and therefore capacity and innovation. This includes promoting lived experience organisations as specialists in their area, defining ourselves as a more viable option for commissioners and collaborators.
We acknowledge that we each will not always understand the nuances of identity and are committed to working together to create a safe space to speak openly, whilst holding each other, and those we collaborate with, accountable.
Each organisation has an equal stake in the partnership, with all of our views and experiences equally considered.
We acknowledge that different organisations have different capacities and priorities for involvement, and we always strive to meet everyone where they are and adapt accordingly.
No matter the identity or the size of community, the partnership includes and supports every organisation through mutual respect, engagement, and trust.
We are committed to using intersectional frameworks throughout our work, considering the nuances of multiple identities and the multiple barriers different communities may face in Cornwall.
